Sometimes I wish I am able to help........

My dad just receive a complaint letter for accident which occurs last year march.

He had a minor accident with SMRT bus at Sims Ave. Last year, he had made a report regarding the accident to his company, Comfort, which they have took photos of the damage to the taxi (previous one).

It was reported at 19 march 2010 that the SMRT bus was coming out from the bus lane at Sims Ave, which was heading to kembangan. My dad was at the 2nd line and apparently there was a SBS bus in front of the SMRT bus which the SBS bus was stopping for passengers and SMRT bus doesn't want to wait for the SBS bus and swerve out to the 2nd lane to continue the journey towards kembangan.

However my dad just receive a report/complaint that the situation was not like this, and it seems that the bus driver had got himself a witness that is not telling the truth (fake witness probably). The witness wrote a letter (type written in english and chinese) that she witness that my dad's taxi drove from 3rd lane to the 1st lane hence hitting the rear end of the bus causing the accident.

However, the date written on the witness letter was more than 1 month after the accident.

It seems that my dad will be at a losing end, despite the photos, it seems that the witness letter had made the case even more tough. Well there may be discrepancy to the letter date, however i think they will find an excuse to cover it up.

My dad was super furious and he was swearing that the bus driver was twisting the truth after which he had confronted him that day during the accident and the bus driver acknowledge his

fault.

How I wish I can help.....

Sometimes I feel that so what i am a university student

so what if i am a graduate next time

Seriously the reason i study so hard is hoping that i can help my family members when they need help....

But it seems that i could not do anything now........
